I was referred to Robert and Felicia by a coworker and when we met for a consultation, we new they were the ones for us... we didn't have to look any further! They are so professional and a great husband/wife team because they have so much chemistry! They really went above and beyond for us. When we saw our engagement photos we were so blown away and everyone was so amazed by the quality and creativity that each shot embodied! They were so flexible and you could tell that photography is not just a job to them, it's their passion! They took our vision and went beyond imagination. On the wedding day, they were prompt and knew exactly what routine they would take in order to ensure they got every shot. Our wedding ran behind schedule and we were losing light, but they knew just what to do to get things rolling and made sure they got every special moment. They really listened to every concern we had. Not only were they our photographers, but I felt they were therapists and coordinators as well! They were right by our side when we had questions or concerns and they made sure everything flowed smoothly. Felicia was so wonderful, and when my bridesmaids couldn't be found, she was there to bustle my dress for me! Amazing! Their work speaks for itself... but the little details are what I was really impressed by! They sent us updates on our photos and had such a fast turn-around! I feel like they put their heart and soul into every job! Every disk or card they sent us in the mail was personalized with our photos on it! They sent us a Holiday card with our wedding photo on it! AND a couple weeks after our wedding, we received a "special delivery" bottle of champagne on our doorstep from them! I was blown away. Robert and Felicia truly go the extra mile! It was so hard to make our wedding albums because it was impossible to narrow down our "favorite" photos since they were all SO incredible!!! I've realized that hiring Robert and Felicia was the best wedding-related decision we made. When it's all said and done, your photos are all you have left behind, and you want to remember your day EXACTLY as it was. The first thing we did to prepare for our wedding almost right after we got engaged was book Rob and Felicia. We had no venue, no dress, no tux but we had our photographers. It was overall the best money spent on our wedding. It was important to know that we could trust the people we worked with, and that we did. We trusted that looking off into the future and holding still would render pictures that we couldn't have thought up if we wanted to. The Paetz tag team will take your expectations and surpass them. They were flexible enough to go for a hike to take our engagement pictures, put up with our lightsabers, superhero outfits and any wishlist item we threw at them. They were punctual, professional and witty. The turnaround time was incredibly quick and we had our family looking online minutes after the wedding excited to see everything. We've had family asking us for their information to book them. Hands down we plan on having Rob and Felicia do our anniversary pictures, family portraits and if at some point babies come they'll be on call for baby pictures too. Plain and simple when you look at our wedding pictures you see us, genuine, silly and slightly better looking. I could go on and and on but all you have to do is see their pictures they speak for themselves.

You must hire Rob and Felicia. Before you book your wedding venue, make sure Rob and Felicia have that date available – if not – change your date. Period. Rob and Felicia did the most amazing job on both our engagement and wedding photos. They flew across the country to do our engagement shoot and spent easily over 3 hours taking thousands of photos. We did some photos around the monuments in Washington, D.C. and at Hotel Monaco. Rob had such a great eye to catch the perfect background. The angles and lighting techniques were fantastic. On our wedding day, Rob and Felicia captured the most amazing shoots. None of them looked posed or cheesy, but perfect. As a team they are the perfect blend of being incredibly professional but fitting into the mix with friends and family. Very quickly after our wedding we received a disc with over 900 photos of our wedding!! ALL of them were fantastic. I can’t stop looking at them. My family and friends are still sending compliments. They went above and beyond. I could not thank Rob and Felicia enough for the lifetime of memories I have because of their talents and heart.

We found Robert through a friend and immediatly booked our engagement photo shoot with him. From the second we got our photos back, we knew that he was going to be our wedding photographer. Robert and Felicia have this special way of taking pictures. Not only do they make you feel extremely comfortable, they become your friend. And did I mention how creative they are? On our wedding day, Robert and Felicia went beyond their job. They catered to me like I was a princess, they were there when I wanted them, and not there when I needed a private moment. And just a few days ago we recieved our photos and I can't give them enough praises. They captured every moment, every detail, and every emotion PERFECTLY. Robert & Felicia shot our wedding less than a month ago (Padua Hill's Theatre in Claremont, CA) and did an outstanding job! Everyone at the wedding loved them and couldnt wait to see the photo's. We received all of our photo's less than 3 weeks after the wedding and they all turned out amazing! We couldnt have asked for better pictures to capture the most important day of our lives. Robert and Felicia shot our engagement photos at Disneyland. A few months later, they shot our wedding ceremony in Murietta, CA, and our wedding reception over 90 minutes away in Westminster, CA. Yes, we know. A PAIN - but they didn't complain once! Without further ado, the review: PROS 1) Patient 2) Showed up before us at both of our sessions, even though they live in Burbank 3) Helpful in so many ways and always picked up when we called! 4) Understanding of culture and sensitive to etiquette 5) Fun and friendly, which helped calm our nerves 6) Helped us realize and figure out many aspects of our wedding which we did not think about. 7) Helped us with our wardrobe! 8) Most importantly, they are EXCELLENT photographers! CONS 1) They live really far, I think in Burbank, so we probably won't be taking them out for beers anytime soon. :( Their attention to detail is awesome. It's the little things that count, people! They printed our photo onto our DVDs, created a DVD cover, made awesome little cards with our photos on them with his website on the back (which was a big hit - we had none left for ourselves *sob* ), and even registered a domain name for us! They are so much more than photographers. The value in their service is really amazing. He edits every single photo individually and you can really see the effort, pride and time he puts into his work. I highly recommend Robert Paetz and his wife, Felicia! What a great team.

I believe that selecting a photographer is one of the most important decisions a bride can make when planning her wedding. And that is how Robert Paetz became our first official vendor. When all is said and done and the wedding is just a mere memory, you want perfect pictures to remember all the love, all the hard work, and just the sheer emotion of that Great Day. Soon after becoming engaged I started researching photographers and stumbled across Robert’s work. What first struck me was how beautiful he captures color. The color is so vivid it almost has a painterly feel to it. He makes BEAUTIFUL pictures. What I also appreciate is his ability to capture the most candid moments. The weddings featured on his blog play out like beautiful pictorial stories and I knew I wanted him to record ours. Robert and Felicia shot our engagement session. Not only are they talented photographers, but they have the ability to make my now-husband and I relax in front of the camera. If you knew us you would realize how hard that is to accomplish. Our engagement photos came out so natural looking and with so many beautiful candid shots. I was completely confident that our wedding photos would be perfect. Robert was also extremely patient and professional with us. Originally, we had contracted him to shoot a more intimate wedding, but then it ballooned to be wedding with over 120 guests. A financial hit caused us to downsize to the original size of 23 and Robert worked with us through all the changes. We were blessed to find him. We now have our wedding pictures and I am amazed at how beautiful we all look, how many little quick moments he captured, and how detailed his images are. My dad was personally impressed at how hard Robert worked at the wedding. He said, “That man never stopped snapping pictures and was even in a tree at one point.” Thank you Robert (and Felicia) for being a joy to work with and taking BRILLIANT photos. We are beyond appreciative.

Best decision we made for our wedding, hands down. Working with Robert and Felicia was a breeze. Even our wedding guests commented on how awesome they were. We got our photos back in less than a week! We were still on our honeymoon and we could see the amazing shots that they got. They spent 12 hours at our wedding and never skipped a beat. In life, not all things are created equal. The same can be said about wedding photographers. As my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted an amazing photographer that could create captivating photos that would capture all the memorable moments of our big day. One might say we are picky, but when it comes to your big day you should always want and get the BEST. These photos are shown your children, family and friends, and when people ask about your wedding “Oh so long ago,” you have to do them right! Lucky for us, a family member happened to know two photographers, one was Robert Paetz and the other was his wife Felicia Paetz. We checked out Robert’s website and we were impressed with the variety of locations, the different styles and quality of the photos. Each photo was intriguing, lively and most importantly told a story. We got in touch with Robert and Felicia and set up an engagement photo session. Robert and Felicia are very professional but also personable. They had us feeling instantly at ease in front of the camera and made the whole photo shoot absolutely easy, exciting and fun. That kind of professionalism coupled with a natural comradery is impossibly hard to find and we subsequently hired this dynamic team on the spot. We received our engagement photos 5 days after the shoot and were blown away by them. We didn’t know we could look so good or that Los Angeles was so beautiful! We were told from multiple friends and family our photos looked like they belonged in a magazine; they were that good. Robert and Felicia did a fantastic job on our wedding. They blended right in with our guests and bridal party and no one was nervous around the camera. They provided great mini photo cards with our engagement photos as the background. These mini photo cards would be provided to our guests to take home so they could log onto our wedding photo website (created by Robert) and could view our wedding photos. This was a very nice personal touch that was a hit at our wedding. I have a very large Chinese family, and during our family portraits Robert and Felicia were amazing at getting the family together to photograph. Robert would explain what they needed and Felicia would translate into Chinese. They turned something that could have been quiet the challenge into a quick and easy process so we were all back to celebrating in no time! Six days after the wedding we have our wedding photos and they are as amazing as we thought they would be! It was the perfect balance of candid, action and portrait. It was everything we wanted and again our guests can’t stop talking about them. Throughout the whole process Robert and Felicia made us feel at ease and valued. Dave and I felt we were in very capable hands which would always deliver on what we wanted. Their work speaks for itself and they are so well priced I can’t imagine going with anyone else. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Rob & Felicia for our December 2010 wedding. Rob had shot my sister in laws wedding several years earlier and I remember the pictures coming out absolutely amazing. So when it came time for my wedding, the only photographers I thought of booking were Rob & Felicia (thank goodness they were free or I would have moved my wedding, they are that amazing). On the day of the wedding, Rob & Felicia were so helpful. Not only did they take breathe taking pictures, but they made sure my husband didn't wear white socks with his tux (thank you soo much Rob). Rob & Felicia are not only amazing photographers, they are an amazing couple. Their ability to capture someones special day in such detail and quality is hard to find. I highly recommend that you use Rob & Felicia to capture those special moments in your life.

Everyone planning a wedding knows that at the end of the wedding, when the flowers have died, the dress is stored away, the favors have been eaten or thrown away.. all the time spent looking for venues and putting your crafting skills together to mail out invitations- all that's left of the day and leading up to it is just a memory. I knew that choosing a photographer was going to be a tough decision, because at the end of the hustle and bustle (to pun intended), the pictures that are left is what capture the day that you want to remember for the rest of your life. Robert and Felicia did just that for my engagement session, wedding, AND anniversary shoot. They are able to capture MOMENTS will be cherished by all for years and generations to come. Rob and Felicia are perhaps the most down to earth people that my husband and I have met, and with their great sense of humor they make shooting feel fun and natural. I probably would've chosen to work with them just on that fact alone, but on top of that they are AMAZING AMAZING photographers. If you're looking for boring, prom type photos for your big day, then I suggest you look for another photographer to work with. They are super fun, creative, and capture the most natural images that when you look at it you just go "wow.. breathtaking". They are incredibly skilled at what they do, super professional, down to earth, FUN, and QUICK at getting pictures back. I had all of the edited images within WEEKS! Choosing to work with Rob and Felicia was the best decision that I could've made when it came to planning the big day. I don't know of any other photographers that remember every single couple they've worked with and have a friendship with them all. Next on the list: baby shoot! (in a few years)

The best wedding vendor I had the pleasure of working with! One of the best things I did for my wedding was book Robert Paetz as our wedding photographer. I cannot say enough great things about him and his team. We were fortunate enough to have him shoot our engagement photos, bridal photos, and wedding photos. With each photo shoot, we had a great time and the pictures were fantastic! He really does work with you to deliver above and beyond what you wanted or even imagined. My husband and I did not know Robert before we met with him to shoot our engagement shoot, however my husband and I both felt as if we were hanging out with good friends that we've known for awhile. He never rushes you and does a great job in making you feel comfortable. My husband loves Robert and Robert made him like being photographed, which my husband does not typically care to be photographed. Also, we received all the digital photos within 1 - 2 weeks after the shoot, and they all looked lovely! His wife, Felicia, was our second shooter, and I cannot rave enough about how great a team they made. Robert takes great pictures, however Felicia is such a compliment to him because she's very attentive to detail herself and took many of the awesome detail pictures like our rings and decor. Also, she speaks so many different languages that she was able to speak to each and everyone of our guests since she was the one taking the receiving line photos. It was great working with the both of them because they really felt like friends who wanted to make your day special. They spent 14 hours shooting us the day of the wedding and went above and beyond the duties of a photographer. Some of the things I was blown away with aside from their great personality, professionalism, and work product were as follows: -Robert surprised us with great mini photo cards with our bridal shoot photos on it and our website he made for us to show our wedding pictures. This was perfect for guests to take home to log on to the website to view our engagement, bridal shoot, and wedding photos. -Felicia was wonderful with my flower girls. We went to a park to take pictures after the ceremony and my flower girls were acting up due to boredom, and Felicia just stepped right up and calmed the girls down by acting as a babysitter. -Felicia took pictures of my husband and I with each guests as they came down the receiving line. During this time, Robert took pictures of the guests arriving and the ballroom, and he also worked with Felicia to promptly download all the pictures so that we could send them off to the one hour photo , and pass out to our guests as photo thank you cards at the end of the night -Robert gave us the right balance of posed pictures and photojournalism. He would direct people as deemed necessary to pose for pictures, and he would take pictures of us interacting naturally. We came across some pictures that we had no idea he took, but was so thankful that he did. He seemed to always be around for all the right moments and captured the day perfectly, and because of that, his photos of our wedding are truly priceless to us. Because I chose Robert Paetz Photographer, my wedding photography was the one detail of my wedding that I did not worry or stress about. Robert Paetz Photographer was able to help facilitate the day and was great at working with us to give us our dream wedding. They made my husband and I feel very valued.
