Pianist On Call

Great value -- and so easy to work with!! posted 1/26/2012 When we realized we had the opportunity for live piano music at the cocktail reception part of our wedding at Ebell Club in Long Beach, I took to the internet in search of someone who could meet our needs. I am blessed to have found Vince Torbey, Pianist on Call! Within two days, I had a demo CD ... and he made it fast, easy and effective from there. Small price for an hour of good music, and a flexible, wonderful man who delighted our guests without making it all about himself. Thank you, Vince, for a wonderful evening ... we will call you again!

Vince was a great addition to our wedding day. He played for the ceremony and gave me exactly what I was looking for. My mother surprised us with a soloist, and Vince played beautifully with her with next to no notice. There were initially some concerns on behalf of the venue of him playing during cocktail hour (noise ordinance by the neighbors) and Vince called the venue directly and worked everything out, to take stress off of me. He listened to all my ideas and gave me some new ones that I loved. Pleasure to work with!

Vince was amazing!! I hired him to play for my Ceremony and Cocktail hour. He arrived early to rehearse with the singers; he played beautifully, and was super easy to work with! As a bride, there are so many things to worry about. If you hire Vince, you will be doing yourself a huge favor as he will make things so easy for you. I would highly recommend him for your event!!!

Vince is really great at what he does, and he seems to enjoy it which makes it even better. He arrived at our outdoor venue with a lot of time to set up his portable piano. When he finished setting up, it sounded great, not too loud, just perfect. He was very patient and played nice music. I would totally recommend him for your event.

I cannot say enough about Vince! He really made my wedding. So professional, cool, collected, cheerful and positive. An absolute joy. We had been to a wedding earlier at which the bride serenaded her groom. It impressed my husband-to-be so much, I thought I would have to do the same or let him down. I secretly arranged this with Vince, and he so very kindly rehearsed with me twice, kept the secret, and had a mic and everything secretly set up for me for the big moment. I can't say I sang perfectly, too choked up, but the moment really came off thanks entirely to Vince. We love The Pianist on Call! Call him, he will make your wedding memorable.
