You were lifesavers!!! We wanted a simple wedding with good food and we got a beautiful wedding with amazing food thanks to DJ's! Our guests RAVED about the food and my coordinator was grateful for DJ's rental services. They were clean, punctual and very affordable with unbeatable quality. Thanks for dealing with our last minute planning and unorganized selves...The wedding was perfect beyond imagination!

I used DJ's catering for my beach wedding and could not have been happier with their service. The food was absolutely delicious (that was a BIG deal for us) and our guests are still talking about how good everything was. We also rented our tables and linens from them. Our coordinator handled everything and helped the day flow smoothly. Doug was wonderful to work with and very flexible, I could change things up until the day before the wedding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I only wish I lived closer to Oxnard so I could use them for future events.

A rating of "5" is not enough for how good DJ's is. I first spoke with DJ's because they were the only caterer that my reception site worked with. I was a little nervous that if I didn't like them, I wouldn't be able to have the reception at the Camarillo Library. After reading the reviews and meeting with Doug, I was no longer nervous - I knew they were going to be great. I told Doug my budget right from the beginning and he put together a great menu that fit right in. I never felt pressured to spend more money with him and I found that all of the suggestions that he offered always kept my budget in mind - which I very much appreciated. The food at the wedding was OUTSTANDING ... I had some very picky eaters at the wedding and I saw several of them going back up for seconds, a true testament to the quality of the food. Jessie was our contact during the reception and she made sure that both myself and my husband had a plateful of appetizers waiting for us at the table and she personally served us a sample of every type of food we had selected while we visited with our guests. At the end of the evening they even offered us the extra food, which even a week later tastes amazing out of the freezer. My only wish is that they had a restaurant that I could go to and have some more of their food ... I am still craving the pasta that they served us :) This is the company to work with if you want the best value for your money, if you want to work with somebody who is professional and if you want a meal that your guests will still be talking about weeks later.

Doug & John were very helpful to accommodate my requests and answered all my questions. On the wedding day, all guests complimented how yummy the food was. The hors d'oeuvre were soo delicious. The whole staff on the wedding day was wonderful. The bartenders were great too!! All guests had a good time with food & drinks! Highly recommended. Thank you Doug & John!

DJ's did a wonderful job! I had to do all of my coordination over email and they were very quick to respond to all of my questions. The food was absolutely amazing. The steak was probably my favorite. We are still receiving compliments from our friends and family. And the service was top notch! While we were off taking pictures they served us appetizers and during the receptions they served myself and the groom even though it was a buffet dinner. The bartender also made me an iced tea even though it wasn't one of the drinks behind the bar. I would hire them again for any special occasion!

Delicious food - most people ordered the filet mignon. You would never had guessed it was catered. Fresh bread (and I'm really picky about bread being crusty on the outside and soft on the inside). No cake cutting fees, many colors for napkins and tablecloth. We brought our own homebrew and still kept with the beer and signature drink selection. Although this was far and beyond our largest expense for the wedding, it was all well-worth it. Great value, professional service and genuine desire to make your day amazing and stress-less.Also, they were able to come up with "gluten-free" alternatives for a couple gluten sensitive family members - how incredible!The only thing I'd change is to have a larger chair selection. We decided to upgrade with Classic Party Rentals' Chameleon chairs ($12/chair) to dress up our overall feel and make for more comfortable seating. --> Doesn't take away from the overall quality, value and flexibility of DJ's though - they were incredible!

Excellent caterer. They went above and beyond what I paid for (which was a total steal) I got to customize my dishes and even though I did a buffet style they still went out of their way to personally serve us. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better!

Hands down DJ's Catering is the best! Doug took what was a tricky property for our wedding reception and made it seem easy. Their service was excellent, and they were extremely flexible and responsive to our last minute changes. I had so much confidence in their work, I used them for our rehearsal dinner as well. Best of all, the food was excellent too.

Doug Biggs and his team at DJs was the BEST! Even though they were located an hour away from where we live, they were so helpful! We rented all of our tables, chairs, dinnerware, glassware and staffing from DJs. Doug was always very flexible with changes- even up to the day before the wedding! The staff was professional and always very courteous. The food was outstanding too! We all were very happy at the end of the night. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

DJ’s Catering did an incredible job. They took care of our food and rentals. The set up and the clean up ran smoothly. The staff was incredibly friendly and went beyond their job descriptions to help set up. Our guests raved about the food and the staff provided excellent service. Their prices are fantastic. Without a doubt, a great choice!

DJs Catering was truly Outstanding in every way from start to finish. I have absolutely no complaints. Doug was so easy to work with--professional, kind, and easy going. He was extremely responsive and helpful and always got back to me immediately whenever I had any questions. He was accessible and was happy to set up an appointment to meet with us before we put down our deposit. They were great with menu changes and great with working within our budget. I loved that they allowed us to provide our own alcohol for the bar--and Doug helped us with a shopping list so we knew what to purchase. They truly made our planning process effortless. And on our wedding day--oh my goodness--far exceeded our expectations. The staff was WONDERFUL!! Truly--every single one of the service staff were top notch. Our guests raved about our bartender--they loved him and he truly added to the fun summer celebration we had going on! They had one person make sure to find us while we were taking photos during our cocktail hour so that we got to taste our appetizers(and she had to trek pretty far to track us down) Every person working was outgoing, courteous, professional. And I used to work in the business so I know--the staff were the best of the best! And the food of course was DELICIOUS, the quality, outstanding, and the cost definitely reasonable and worth it!! People are still talking about the cornbread they served(which unfortunately I forgot to try). The meat was cooked perfectly--we had it cooked on site and it was tender and yummy. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The vegetables were amazing--I have never had asparagus that good. Cooked perfectly! Everything was so tasty-- we were incredibly pleased. And we had plenty of food and even some leftovers we got to enjoy the next few days! We talked to quite a few different caterers and we are so pleased we went with DJs. They truly did an exceptional job with both the food and the service. We are very grateful!

Doug and everyone at DJ's took care of us so well! From the tasting to the reception, the food quality was supreme. The hors d'oeuvres were simple, fresh and delicious and the dinner was a huge hit. People were practically licking their plates!

The food was delicious, the staff was very quick and efficient at serving and cleaning, and the reception room was more beautiful than I could have imagined! DJ's catering was very professional throughout. Their food was pretty good using fresh ingredients, and they were flexible regarding us adding an extra dish and coming up with our alcoholic menu. They were also very good with setting up the chairs for our outdoor ceremony and thereafter moving those same chairs to the adjacent indoor reception in record time.

Everyone we worked with at Putting on The DJ's California Catering was extremely professional and helpful. The food was outstanding! Any event I have ever been to where Putting on the Ritz is catering has always been delicious. Always friendly and consistent. They have a good selection to fit any style wedding.

Food was one place my husband and I weren?t willing to skip. Our ceremony took place in Santa Barbara and I did my due diligence and researched the local wedding blogs and websites and came up with three potential catering companies: one low priced, one mid-priced and one high-priced. One activity you don't want to skip is food tasting. Pure Joy, the high priced vendor was very pulled together, but their food was was horrible. It was very bland and completely disappointing. The mid-priced vendor, Lorraine Lim, was unprepared for our meeting. They were completely over-booked and my ?tasting? was a sit-down conversation with a part-time assistant, who happened to have all three of her kids in-tow. After tasting at the to catering companies in Santa Barbara, we ventured to Ventura to sit down with Doug Biggs of DJ's Catering. Located about 45 minutes South of Santa Barbara, DJ?s Catering is a bit off the beaten path, but delivered exactly what we were looking for- an AMAZING meal that left people wanting to lick their plates clean at an incredible price. What?s more is that they automatically included gratuity and offered a 10% military discount (my husband is active duty) off the total cost of the catering- including dance floor, speaker rental, and set up. The food was literally some of the best food I have ever tasted. We actually requested the recipe for the Pasta Porcini because we loved it so much and I had 12 separate guests ask if I could get the recipe. Again, my husband and I are completely foodies and we were more than willing to shell out big-bucks for a great meal. For those of you thinking about destination weddings think big, in terms of radius for your vendors. Had I limited my search to Santa Barbara caterers, I would have paid at least 25% more and sacrificed verifiable quality. Instead, I found an amazing caterer at an amazing price.

DJ's Catering was wonderful! I really wanted an authentic taco bar and so many other caterers proposed a glitzy taco bar at astronomical prices. DJ's provided the menu my husband and I really wanted and a very reasonable price. Their wait staff was so professional and friendly. The tables and chairs provided by my venue were unacceptable. DJ's quickly arranged for new tables and chairs to be delivered to my wedding site at the last minute. Yay! My entire experience with DJ's was wonderful!

Our graduation day from UCSB was perfect. Everything looked exactly how I imagined it and I owe it all to Doug and his wonderful staff. Martine and his staff were amazing! I don't think things would have went as smoothly without him. I received so many complements about how beautiful everything looked and tasted. Some people even said they think it was the best event they have been to!!! I would recommend this DJ'S California to anyone...they are truly AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for everything...

AWESOME! We saw them in action at one of our groomsmans weddings...did get a quote from another caterer- and it was twice the amount of DJs. My mother in law- who did not want to have to do any work, was utterly amazed at the professionalism and attention to detail that DJs provided the day of the wedding.Needless to say- everyone loved our food. My husband is a big guy, and not a fan of plated meals..we had a buffet and guests were able to go for seconds. We were also able to have an open bar( we provided our booze) and DJ provided a great bartender! Seriously...look no further then DJs catering!
