It is absolutely the very first time (EVER ) that I give a review for anyone or any vendor. But I intend to do so for all the GREAT vendors I had for my wedding, because they certainly deserve it. Shawn was amazing since the first day we met. He made me, my fiancee (at that time) and my cousin feel great about how great our reception will be. We felt comfortable, relaxed and truly believed he would be great for our wedding reception. He would follow up with me timely, (not in a way that will bother or annoy you) he was responsible and I could see he was dedicated to his work field and very very professional in every way. My wedding was Bilingual and I didnt know how I would go about finding a GREAT Bilingual DJ. When I met Shawn, I was thankful and knew I would be hiring a great person and GREAT DJ. I had some setbacks before our wedding and couldn't even meet with Shawn for the last appointment. I felt horrible about it. Yet, HE made me feel at ease and trust that everything would be just fine. AND IT WAS.. OUR WEDDING WAS BEAUTIFUL, PEOPLE LOVED IT AND OUR GUESTS DANCED UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. Sadly, the music had to be turned off>> but people wanted to continue dancing. THANKS SHAWN, I WILL BE FOREVER GREATFUL. You're not only a great DJ, but a wonderful individual to do business with. Which to me, its extremely important. Shawn from Amazing Events DJ was our DJ for our wedding and he is AMAZING!! Selecting our DJ was one of the most crucial aspects in our planning. My husband and I come from two different ethnic backgrounds and fusing his American old rock music with my Mexican Spanish music smoothly and effectively was very important to us. We are a very musical couple with a family who loves a good party and opportunity to tear up a dance floor. Shawn did an awesome job at tackling this task effortlessly. He had everyone on the dance floor (including the people that aren't big dancers) and he made our wedding night so much fun with great music and great memories from the dance floor. Our guest still talk about how great the music was.

It is important to find a DJ/MC that will help guide the reception timeline/flow. Shawn was very flexible and worked with us to make our reception fun, especially for our guests. He is also very accessible and responsive to emails - in fact, we met with him a couple of times to discuss the details of the wedding. We wanted our wedding to be upbeat and fun and he was successful in bringing this energy to the reception by engaging our guests through games and songs. We were very comfortable with him even with the initial consultation. Shawn treated us like friends while maintaining his professionalism. We are very happy to have Shawn be a part of our wedding.

Shawn DJ'd and MC'd our ceremony and wedding in November 2011. Music brought my wife and I together. So naturally, the MUSIC being played at our wedding was extremely important to us. From our first meeting, we connected with Shawn instantly, both in musical tastes and in equipment. Not only did he like the same bands we did, he knew how to play them all at our wedding to create the vibe that best represented us. I told him exactly what NOT to play, the same old crap that's played at every wedding, and he smiled with relief. My wife and I are Apple people, so we knew we hired the perfect DJ when we saw Shawn keeping our wedding running smoothly (as possible) with his Macbook Pro and iPhone! We could tell that Shawn was experienced and knew what he was doing. For example, we chose to have a buffet style dinner, and our seating arrangement made it difficult for half of our guests to get to the buffet tables efficiently. Shawn, without anyone asking him to, got together with our security to plan a more efficient path for the guests to get their food. I was impressed and so thankful!!! We've never planned a wedding before, so we were lost when it came to planning the day's events and itinerary. We couldn't afford a wedding planner, so who comes to the rescue? Our wedding DJ! He met with us before our wedding to conquer this Itinerary that we were NOT looking forward to. What a huge help, so unexpected from a DJ. Shawn got EVERYONE on the dance floor, knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone happy. You can't please everyone, but Shawn did! It's rare to find a wedding DJ that pays so much attention to details like Shawn does. My wife's cousin is a wedding DJ too, and we hired Shawn over him. Enough said. Save yourself and your fiance a lot of headaches; hire Shawn!

DJ Shawn was amazing! The best DJ that we could have possibly hoped for. He was the definition of a true professional - he made everything so much easier with his attention to detail and his willingness to work with us. We're so glad we had Shawn do both the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony music was beautiful and he had everyone dancing for hours at the reception. Shawn is the BEST. So glad we had him as our DJ last night. He was very professional, on time to all our meetings, played all the songs we chose, and is an excellent emcee as well as DJ. We also included purple uplights and monogram lighting of our names in the package, and they were perfect!! The lighting made the room look awesome, especially as the night got darker. I would highly recommend Shawn and all of the services he provides!!

Shawn exceeded any expectations we had. He was more than a DJ, he was more than an MC, he was practically a Wedding Planner/Organizer. He ran the entire reception smooth, making sure that every event happened as expected. Even when things went wrong, he stayed cool and made everything work. Literally if it wasn't for Shawn, my hubby and I would've been lost. Thanks Shawn.

You cant go wrong with Shawn! I got married on September 3rd, and Shawn helped make it the greatest day ever. I am a drummer and needed special assistance in order for my band to be able to perform. Shawn totally accommodated me by allowing me to use his Mic and PA system to make the day happen, something I appreciated more than he will ever know. Also, his DJ skills were awesome, from song to song, he kept the place moving! I highly recommend Amazing event DJ's!!!

I would give Amazing Event Djs more stars if I could. First of all, he's not a great wedding DJ - he's a great DJ, period. Second, he rocks. The music at our wedding was so great that a bunch of our guests asked for the playlist. They did the music for our cocktail hour and wedding reception, and delivered exactly what we asked for: a classy, jazzy lawn party followed by a kick-ass dance party that got everyone from my mom to our friends to my 4-year-old cousin on the dance floor. He was great to work with, super organized, responsive, and nailed our vision for the wedding. A+++

Like many horror stories you might have heard about the Wedding being beautiful but the DJ was horrible. Amazing Events has earned a 5 STAR + rating with my self and my bride. We did not have a band so we wanted to pick a very special MC/DJ to entertain our family & Friends. All I can say is that WE HIT THE JACKPOT with Shawn & Amazing Events. Professional, Courteous, Friendly, and extremely considerate of our needs as a wedding couple. He made us feel like long time friends rather then just another business deal. From the biggest details of our wedding schedule, down to a glass of water he offered us before we made our grand entrance, Shawn complimented our wedding with prestige and class. We will recommend Shawn to anyone we know that is getting married or is have a social event needing a DJ. Shawn was simply amazing... He was not only very professional but very attentive to what we had in mind. Another good thing about his services... he is bilingual (which was important to us). He translated announcements in Spanish so that the whole familia could stay informed. Shawn was great! He was so professional and calmed my wedding nerves. He was always on time and quick to respond to my many questions and conserns. On my wedding day he was accomodating and on the spot with his music choices. He kept my 5 y.o. guests to my dad dancing all night!

Our guests said it was the funnest wedding they have ever been to !!!!!!!!! we could not have choosen a better dj for our wedding, from the first time i talked to shawn on the phone to setup a meeting i knew i was going to like him, he just seemed so professional/organized and trust worthy and after meeting with him my husband felt the same way. Shawn was very good at responding quickly to any questions i had especially the week before my wedding when things got a little crazy due to last min changes.... he played all the songs we requested and he was great at reading the crowd..... everyone was on the dance floor the entire night!!!! honestly i was worried that only a few people would dance but i was so happy to see people dancing that i did not think would be!!! not only was it the funnest night of our lives but hearing our guests compliment us and the dj is even better :)

I can’t even begin to express how FABOULOUS Shawn was at our wedding. From the day we met him we had 100% faith in him. Well, Shawn did more than deliver he made our entire process painless and assisted us in our grand entrance, since we had a non-traditional entrance. Honestly, he hyped our crowd to the extreme that we felt we were in a concert which was EXACTLY what we were aiming for. Throughout the entire wedding, Shawn was professional and catered to our guest especially us. He helped facilitate all events hosted throughout the wedding making them fun and memorable. Anything I asked of Shawn he never hesitated and pleased us in every possible way. I had him perform all announcements bilingual and he did a fantastic job at it. I cannot adequately express how much Shawn and his services eased the pain of planning a wedding. He was professional and articulate throughout the entire event and especially throughout all formal announcements which were done in both English and Spanish. His professionalism and experience assisted in planning not only what music was to be played, but his online event planner allowed us to visualize the wedding night’s timeline and ensured the night’s events flowed seamlessly. His ability to provide almost any song requested of him made the night enjoyable for everyone at our wedding and stress free. When planning a wedding you will run into several unprofessional vendors throughout the process. The best part about Shawn was the fact that he made us feel so comfortable and secure in his abilities and professionalism, my wife and I never stressed about the music, which allowed us to concentrate on the other headaches that come with planning a wedding on short notice. Even when our venue required that he jump through hoops to be approved to play there (they initially wanted us to pick a DJ only from their preferred vendor list), Shawn was able to coordinate with the venue and provide all required insurance and business documents in a timely manner so that the problem was resolved almost immediately. If you can manage to book him, DO IT!!! You wont regret it.

Shawn is without a doubt an amazing DJ and MC. From our early meetings prior to the wedding, Shawn took the time to get to know us and create a timeline that fit exactly what we were looking for. He is extremely professional and has a great deal of experience as a dj and mc. He took care of all the details to ensure our wedding ran smoothly and without a hitch. He kept us updated throughout the entire event and made some quick recommendations when we started to run behind schedule. Shawn did an incredible job at providing great music at our wedding. My guest had a blast dancing the night away. My husband and I did not sit down once for a break.
