The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden
The intimate perfection of the Japanese Garden in Long Beach creates a romantic setting for weddings, receptions and photo sessions. The site’s privacy and impeccably maintained grounds attract discerning couples seeking a unique outdoor setting for their wedding. Surrounded by tall trees, the elegant 1.3-acre garden features a lush green landscape, the perfect foil for a gracefully arched bridge, shimmering koi pond, and sparkling waterfalls. The garden’s natural beauty inspires dreams of love and provides the ideal backdrop for the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests will enjoy strolling the garden paths, feeding the friendly koi fish and viewing the garden’s extensive bonsai collection. Receptions at the garden are elegant and carefree. The attentive staff take care of every detail so the bride and groom can relax and enjoy their special day. Weddings may be scheduled at various times and sunset weddings followed by an evening reception are a popular option. As evening falls dramatic lighting transforms the garden into a scene from a fairytale.
In addition to wedding events, the Japanese Garden may be reserved for rehearsal dinners, afternoon teas, business receptions, dinner for two and dinner parties. On-site coordination services make it simple to plan a memorable event for up to 160 guests.
